The post came after last week’s news that the prediction market platform struck a deal to partner with Argentina on the same day that the 2026 World Cup was awarded to the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The endorsement from Messi, along with another from Luka Modrić, underscores the growing influence of prediction markets and their appeal to high-profile athletes.
