Wealthsimple will launch a prediction markets app in partnership with Kalshi Inc. this summer after securing approval from the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization.
Wealthsimple, based in Toronto, is set to introduce a prediction markets app in collaboration with Kalshi Inc. following regulatory clearance from the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization. The company, approved in March, will be the second investment dealer in Canada permitted to provide these contracts, following Interactive Brokers Group Inc.'s similar announcement.
